Lookbook//Summer 2017

Summer is upon us and with my favorite Florida season comes torrential downpours (not that we’ve seen ~any~ yet), consuming heat, and so much humidity you’d think you were swimming on your way out to your car. I love it. Every summer I pick out a few staple outfits to wear for daytime strolls though town or a special trip to my favorite veggie restaurant. I thought I’d share them with you in this post!

Since Florida is a humid swamp (I say this out of love), flowy, open back pieces are what I tend to gravitate towards. Let’s start with my fav.

This dress is sooo beautiful. The cream background makes the tropical flower colors pop (and if you’re as pale as me, matches your skin tone), and the open back adds an extra POW! The bottom is long and flowy and completely comfortable for a day out at the farmers market. I paired this dress with strappy leather flats and minimal jewelry.

Onto the next one: This adorable little number is perfect for a lunch date or dinner out at your fav rooftop lounge. The colors reminded me of a watercolor dream and I had to include it in this post. Go ahead — show off those summer legs!

When I first saw this on the hanger and brought it with me to the dressing room (only because of the gorgeous waterlily print), I was a bit worried about the sack like shape, but it actually works! I paired this little number with a chunky nude sued heel, but white//black leather sandals would look perf too.

Last but certainly not least: This pantsuit! The lines run vertical (oooh, so slimming!) and the looseness of the legs with a cinched waist adds all the drama this outfit needs. I felt like a real Girl Boss who was playing hooky at the park looking fierce AF! This outfit is perfect for a steamy summer dinner date or when you just want to be a #GirlBoss everywhere you go. I paired this jumpsuit with a chunky low-heel leather and string sandal and hooped earrings.

I hope you are now full of summer fashion inspiration and that you enjoyed some of the beautiful parts of Largo Central Park. When I’m not speed changing my outfits in the public bathroom, this little park is perfect for a summer picnic.
